BHADARWAH: Continuing its drive to ensure punctuality in government offices, Sub Divisional Administration in a surprise check found 10 officials including three Gazetted officers unauthorizedly absent from their respective duties. The salaries of absentee officials have been withheld.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Bhadarwah Mohd Anwar Banday along with Tehsildar Bhadarwah Dr Amir Hussain conducted the surprise check in the government offices including Girls High School Nichla Thara, Fisheries Department Gatha, Animal Husbandry, Poultry Department and Municipal Committee. During checking three Gazetted officers among 10 officials were found absent from their respective duties.
The absentee officials are three from Animal Husbandry Department including Dr Mohd Iqbal Magray Live Stock Development Officer, Umtal Rasheeda Senior Assistant, Mohammad Amin Attendant,three from Poultry Department including Dr Waseem Assistant Poultry Manager, Amir Shapoo and Mohsin Qayoom (Attendants) , two from Municipal Committee including Brij Bhushan Executive Officer, Akeela Begum Tax Inspector, Ganesh Kumar Inspector Fisheries posted at Gatha Fish Farm and Renuka Jamal Teacher of Girls High School Nichla Thara, Bhadarwah.
Taking cognizance of the government officials regarding their casual approach by remaining absent from their duties, Sub Divisional Headquarter Bhadarwah under order No SDM/PA/16-17/154-62, has withheld the salaries of these officials.
“During surprise check of some Government offices and schools, I found 10 officials absent from their duties unauthorizedly. Tehsildar Bhadarwah will conduct the enquiry in detail and furnish the report to my office within a fortnight, till the acceptance of satisfactory report, the salary of absentees shall remain withheld,” SDM Bhadarwah Mohd Anwar Banday said.
