REASI: Police on Sunday arrested three gamblers and recovered Rs 1,600 as stake money from the gambling spot.
According to a report, acting on specific information, a team of Police Station Arnas led by Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO Police Station Arnas conducted raid at Arnas and apprehended three gamblers namely Shamsher Singh son of Bahadur Singh resident of Hunder Tehsil Arnas District Reasi, Sohal Singh son of Bir Singh resident of Tadwa Arnas District Reasi and Jagdish Singh son of Shanker Singh resident of Arnas Tehsil Arnas District Reasi while playing cards at Arnas.
All the accused were booked under 13 Gambling Act. The stake amount of Rs.1,600 alongwith playing cards were seized from them.
