JAMMU: The three-day 10th Inter-state Dental Conference organised by the Jammu Chapter of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) concluded on Sunday.
According to General Secretary IDA, Dr. Gautam Sharma, about 700 specialists and dental surgeons participated in the conference that provided great exposure to the new comers in the profession.
Practical sessions were also held that proved useful to the dental fraternity.
The IDA also conducted pre-conference courses, lectures, hands-on and workshop at Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Sehora and Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC), Jammu.
The scientific programmes on Sunday were conducted by Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Amulya Chadha, Dr. Abhijeet Lele, Dr. Amnish Singh, Dr. Rachna Dhani and Dr. Rajiv Verma.
The lecture of Dr. Rajiv Verma on the subject ‘Life after BDS, Life after MDS, What after 10 years and 25 years of Dentistry’ was also held.
Dr. Rohit Punga, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, congratulated the organising team for organising such a successful event.
Dr. Gautam Sharma thanked Dr. Romesh Singh, Patron, Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Dr. Ritesh, Dr. Ajay, Dr. Arvind Mengi and Dr. Rajiv Mengi for their efforts in making the conference successful.
A cultural programme by students of IGGDC and IDS Sehora was also presented.
