Three bovines rescued, 2 smugglers arrested in Arnas

ARNAS: Police on Friday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing three bovines and arresting two smugglers.
According to a report, specific information was received from In-charge Police Check Post Dharmari at Police Station Arnas that some persons are on way along with bovines towards Kashmir without any legal permission. On this, a police team from Police Station Arnas under the supervision of Zaffar Iqbal Nawaz, SDPO Arnas, Sanjay Singh Rana, Addl.SP Reasi and overall supervision of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi laid a Naka at Sounchal Gali Dharmari and rescued three bovines from the possession of the two persons who were identified as Nazam Din son of Fateh Mohd resident of Thanole Tehsil Arnas District Reasi and Misher Din son of Ghulam Mohd resident of Fari Tehsil Mahore District Reasi. Both the accused persons have been arrested and a case vide FIR No. 19/2016 under section 188 RPC was registered at Police Station Arnas.
