REASI: Police on Sunday booked three persons for gambling and recovered Rs 2,200 as stake money from them.
According to a report, acting on specific information, a team of Police Post Talwara led by SI Ved Parkash, In-Charge Police Post Talwara conducted raid in general area of Talwara and apprehended three gamblers namely Kewal Singh son of Kaka Ram resident of Gari Tehsil Arnas, Budhi Singh soln of Sant Singh resident of Migrant Colony Talwara and Jasbir Singh son of Punjab Singh resident of Migrant Colony Talwara while playing cards at Talwara and were involved in gambling.
All the accused were booked under 13 Gambling Act and stake money of Rs.2,200 along with playing cards were seized from them.
