DODA: A two-day Zonal level inter-school tournament of Thathri zone, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Doda concluded at Government Higher Secondary School Bhella.
The sport events which included Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Wrestling competitions in under-14 and under-17 age group witnessed participation of 225 students of Thathri Zone besides the staff members and locals.
In U/17 years (Boys) Volleyball, GHSS Chagsoo drubbed GHSS Bhella; in U/17 year (Boys) Kabaddi GHS Thallea emerged winner by defeating GHS Nandna and in U/14 year Kabaddi (Boys) Government Middle School Bhella defeated Govt. MS Jangalwar by margin of 7 points.
Similarly, Govt. HSS Thathri (Girls), Govt. HSS Jangalwar (Boys), Govt. HSS Bhella (Girls) and Govt. MS Rekha(girls) emerged winners in under 17 year kabaddi, U/17 year Kho- Kho (Boys), under 17 year Kho-Kho (Girls) and U/14 year Kho-Kho(girls) respectively.
The event was organized under the supervision of District Youth Service and Sports Officer S.R Kotwal.
