Hyderabad: Telangana Government will provide water purifiers to Jammu and Kashmir, for supplying safe drinking water to flood-affected people.
“Telangna Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has approved sending 50 water purifier machines, worth Rs 2.5 crore, immediately to Jammu and Kashmir,” a release from Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said today.
The supply of machines is in addition to Rs 10 crore assistance already announced by the state government.
“The water purifying machines will be taken to Srinagar in a special aircraft,” the release added.
