REASI: In a simple but impressive function, Tehsildar Thakrakote, Rajesh Baru handed over a cheque of Rupees one lakh and one thousand as Red Cross contribution to Sushma Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner Reasi.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Thakrakote along with Naib Tehsildar and other staff members presented the cheque in the Office chamber of Deputy Commissioner Reasi.
Sushma Chauhan congratulated Rajesh Baru and his team members for this commendable job who within a short span of seven months made such huge contribution in Red Cross Account from this far flung, backward and hilly Tehsil of District Reasi.
Tehsildar Thakrakote apprised Sushma Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner Reasi that it has become possible due to best and collective efforts put in by his team members and because of massive participation of local inhabitants during various Public Darbars and awareness camps organised recently across the Tehsil. Rajesh Baru further said that during various public Durbars he made the people of the area understand regarding judicious utility of these funds for the poor and needy during natural disasters and calamities.
On the request of Tehsildar, people have donated voluntarily for this cause. Even Poor masses have contributed whatever little they can contribute for this genuine cause. Major share has been donated by Team Tehsil Office Thakrakote Rs.11000, Kewal Singh Rs 10000 and Rs 5000 each by Subh Kumar, Satpal and Balwan Singh and Rs. One Thousand, Rs. Five Hundred & Rs. One Hundred by many others.
Besides this Rajesh Baru has also vacated more than 1509 Kanals of State Land and completed 100 percent coverage under Aadhar in Tehsil Thakrakote besides making 6600 Ration Cards E-tickets.
Chauhan highly appreciated the innovative and Inspiring efforts made by Mr. Baru and his entire team for this commendable performance and good governance and prompt disposal at grass root level.
Chauhan also issued appreciation letter in favour of Rajesh Baru Tehsildar and his team members.
