UDHAMPUR: A teenager committed suicide while a youth died in a road mishap in Udhampur on Thursday.
According to a report, 18 years V.P Sharma son of Durga Dass Sharma resident of Mantlai locality in Tehsil Chenani was found hanging with the ceiling in his house. His family members shifted him to nearby PHC but doctors further referred him to Sub District Hospital Chenani where declared brought dead. Police handed over the dead to his family after conducting the autopsy and registered a case for investigation.
Meanwhile, in a road accident, a 28 years youth Bittu Ram son of Hari Ram resident of village Ossoo Khera in Udhampur was hit by a speeding Scorpio (JK021S-0304) near Head Post Office on Dhar Road. Victim was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him brought dead. Police handed over the body to his family members and registered a case for investigation.
