JAMMU: In the 13th District Rope Skipping Championship 2023 held under the banner of District Youth Services and Sports Jammu, JK Public School won 5 Gold, 2 Silvers and 6 Bronze medals.
A total of 450 students from 20 schools/clubs from the Jammu region, participated in this championship. JKPS Kunjwani secured third place among the six top teams.
The proud winners are Ananya Singh (Gold), Netaniya Raina (Gold in Single Dutch), Madhavi Pagoh (Gold), Pear Nischal (Gold in Backward Single Touch), Mayank Sharma (Gold in Speed Hop), Harinash Nag (Silver), Tanish Maheena (Silver), Harpreet Singh (Bronze), Dhruvika Gupta (Bronze), Tanzil Sharma (Bronze), Krishna (Bronze), Natik Sharma (Bronze) and Advik Jyoti (Bronze).
Director JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary and Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the school assembly. They lauded the Coach Gopal Dass and HOD (Sports) Mr Subash Chander for this remarkable achievement.
Rajesh Rathore appreciated the efforts put in by the team JKPS and bringing laurels to the school.
He said, “JKPS Kunjwani believes in all around development of the students and provides ample opportunities to its students, be it academic, sports or co-curricular activities”.
