UDHAMPUR: General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Rakesh Singh on Thursday in Udhampur and highlighted number of long pending demands including reverting ReT teachers to their respective places of posting on which basis they secured the jobs in ReT category which had created unrest among regular as well as general line teachers.
Speaking in the meeting Singh urged the Govt. to streamline already derailed education system to improve standard of students and rationalise transfers of ReT teachers to their respective place of postings. Conduct 50 per cent promotion on performance basis after written test, release pending salary of teachers, stop transfer of SSA and ReT teachers, remove pay anomalies, fill vacant post in schools, upgrade the seniority list and many more.
Others present were Ravinder Gupta, Vivek Gupta, Sohan Lal, Ajeet Gupta, Jatinder Singh, Rattan Singh, Arvind Brahammu, Rakesh Kumar,Neeraj Sharma, Ashish Sharma and Kusum Sharma.
