VIJAYPUR: A conference of J and K United School Teachers Association zone Vijaypur was held in Hr Sec School Vijaypur under the presidium of Pardeep Singh, Rajeev Kumar, Madan Singh and Shanti Saroop
A large number of teachers from various schools of the zone participated in the conference and held detailed discussion on present education scenario and demands of teaching community.
While speaking on the occasion Provincial President Hari Singh said that policies of present Govt is responsible for deterioting the service and working condition of teachers on one hand and depriving the vast masses of the people from basic and quality education on the other hand.
Teachers and their families are on the verge of starvation as they are without salary for last so many months. The resolutions passed in the conference are release the salary to all teachers under one salary head, start pre-primary class with extra teachers and infrastructure in govt schools, etc . After that unanimously a committee was elected which include President-Mohd Rafie, S Vice President-Diwan Singh, Vice President-Lakhwinder Singh and Gulzar Ahmad, Secretary-Rakesh Kumar, Joint Secretary-Mukesh Kumar, Organisor-Ashok Kumar and Advisors-Vijay Kumar and Birbal.
