Teacher’s deputation calls on CEO, highlights issues

POONCH: A deputation of United Teachers Association led by president Manjeet Kumar Sharma met newly adjusted CEO Poonch Lal Hussain in his office chamber on Wednesday. He was firstly welcomed in the capacity of CEO Poonch with the hope that the functioning of the office shall be more smooth. Afterwards he was apprised about the problems of the teaching community.
While highlighting the problems stress was laid for their immediate redressal. The issues related to the community include pending salaries of masters and teachers working under RMSA and SSA for the last four to six months, implementation of transfer policy strictly adhering to government norms, release of pending amount pertaining to ingredients of Mid Day Meal, pending files of post facto and pre facto permission cases those who want to appear in the examination, adjustment of pending DA Arrear of Sixth Pay Commission in favour of all employees.
While speaking on the occasion Sayed Zaki Haider Vice President of the association demanded immediate redressal of the issues related to the teaching community. He also appealed to the teaching fraternity to extend their full cooperation in the eradication of current social evils from the society like menace of drugs, misuse of social media etc. besides, providing friendly atmosphere and value education to the budding kids.
CEO and DEPO Poonch gave patient hearing and assured that the issues taken up by the association would be addressed soon. Those who were present on the occasion include Ravinder Singh General Secretary, Ghulam Ahmed, Harcharn Singh, Vijay Kumar, Balvir Singh, Asrar Ahmed, Anmol Singh, Daljeet Singh Khurshid Ahmed and others.
