Jammu: In an effort to acknowledge the vital role of educators, students of JK Group of colleges celebrated Teachers’ Day showcasing their deep appreciation for the teachers.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Simarpreet Kour and offering floral tribute to the great educationist and former President of India, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by Director, Shashi Choudhary.
Students showcased their talent through exuberant dance and musical performances. These artistic displays showcased the bond between the students and the teachers. It was a day filled with respect and appreciation for the educators. At the end programme featured a cake cutting ceremony.
Shashi Choudhary, Director JK Educational Society in her speech said, “Teachers are the backbone of the nation and they contribute significantly to the progress and development of our society.” She also appreciated the teachers for their exceptional work throughout the year.
