JAMMU: State Taekwondo contingent, comprising 39 boys and girls in under-14 and under-17 age groups, on Saturday left for participation in the 62nd National School Games to be held in Talengana.
The contingent was flagged off by Joint Director, Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Madan Lal from Youth Hostel, Nagrota, near here.
The teams are accompanied by Tariq Hussain Malik as contingent leader, a handout issued here on Saturday informed.
Among those who were at the flag off ceremony include District Sports Officer (DYSS), Sukhdev Raj Sharma, Rajesh Sambyal, B.K Tikoo, Parshotam Singh and Rattan Lal.
