JAMMU: Street Warriors Akhnoor shall take on Shiva Eyes Sunderbani in the opening match of the Summer Cup Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor in collaboration with Police Youth Club at Government Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor, here tomorrow.
In all, 20 teams have confirmed their entries for this knock-out tournament. The winner of this tournament shall become rich by Rs 20,000 while runners-up team to be awarded with Rs 10,000 cash prize. Individual prizes shall also be given during the event.
Earlier, a meeting of the organising secretary and president of Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor, Sham Singh Langeh held with DySP Akhnoor, Naresh Singh to finalise the arrangements.
Among others present were Vikas Bali, Rajinder Sharma, Joginder Magotra, Madan Lal and Deepak Magotra.
