JAMMU: Jammu Asha Kiran Welfare Society (JAKWS) organised a symposium on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh in the premises of Government Girls High School, Janipur here on Sunday.
Incharge Headmaster of the School, Davinder Gupta presided over the function and about fifteen students of two government schools took part in the competition.
Komal stood first, Kiran second and Arti secured third position in the symposium.
Winners were provided mementos and other participants were given consolation prizes.
Chairman of the Society, Dr. J.P Gupta threw light on the life history of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Bhagat Singh and stressed upon the students to follow the path shown by these great leaders.
President, Ved Parkash Chhibber presented the vote of thanks.
Jaswant Manhas, Vinod Sharma, Ramesh Lal, Ramesh Gupta, Ram Sarup Sharma and Hari Chand Sharma were also present.
