Symposia on AIDS awareness conducted in Bishnah

BISHNAH: Red Ribbon Club of GDC Bishnah organised a symposium on ‘the role of youth in making India an aid free nation’ under the guidance of Dr. Suman Charak, Convener RRC.
Ten students expressed their views on the said topic. Earlier, Dr. Suman Charak started the programme with a brief introduction about the topic wherein she urged upon the youth to volunteer themselves for the moral and social growth of the country and dedicate themselves for the betterment of the nation.
Dr. Alka Sharma acted as the Chief Guest who in her address to the students advised them to apply positive attitude in their lives and understanding the basics roots of anything which crushes the country should be disciplined physically, emotionally and socially.
Prof. Raj and Arti Devi were the jury. Pooja Devi of BA Part-III bagged first position, Monika Kaith of IIIrd Year got second position and Sweety of BA Part-I bagged third position. Supriya of B.A. got consolation prize whereas Dheeraj Singh presented vote of thanks.
