DODA: Social Welfare Employees Association (SWEA) Doda in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Association District President Subash Kotwal, TSWO Doda discussed the grievances confronted by the helpers to Supervisors who have not received their honorarium for the last more than two years.
The Association executive members in the meeting expressed sorrow that concerned CDPOs did not release the honorarium of helpers to Supervisors for the last more than two years. They said whereas the honorarium has been paid to other 1363 helpers working in their respective AWW centers in District Doda upto February 2016 having one and same post with uniform rates, what is hell with these poor helpers to Supervisors who did not receive their wages and are suffering for no fault of theirs, which is disgusting, say Association members.It was decided by the Association that the general grievances of these helpers would be brought in to the notice of State Mission Director ICDS J&K Srinagar with the request to take personal intervention into the matter and release the pending honorarium of the helpers before EId-Ul-Fitter.The Association also discussed the issues of Social Welfare Sector employees regarding settlement of time bound promotion cases and declaration of quasi-permanent having rendered more than 18 years services such as the case of Sutantra Devi Junior Assistant and Beena Devi Craft Teacher. It was decided by the Association that the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Doda will be requested to submit all such pending cases to the Director Social Welfare Department Jammu for their settlement and accord of timely sanction.
