POONCH: Surankote Zone trounced Nangali by a margin of seven points in the final of the inter-zone under-17 boys Kho-Kho tournament which was organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, here on Monday.
The event took place under the supervision of district (DYSSO) officer, Mohd Qasim and technical led by Rajinder Singh, Incharge ZPEO Mandi.
The technical penal comprised Rajinder Singh (PEM), Narider Kumar (PEM), Gurvinder Singh (PET), Jasmeet Kaur (PET), Rubina Baghyal (PET), Vijay Kumar (PEM).
The Results: Preliminary Round: Zone Surankote bt Zone Poonch by 11 pts; Zone Kanuyian bt Zone Buffliaz by five pts; Zone Nangali bt Zone Sathra by five pts; Zone Surankote bt Zone Kanuyian by seven pts; Zone Nangali bt Zone Mandi by three pts.
