POONCH: District Level Sunil Dutta Memorial Gyan Pratiyogita organised by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad was conducted in Boys Higher Sec. School Poonch on Sunday in which 530 students from classes 6th to 8th participated from different institutions of Poonch city.
Vikas Sharma and Amit Gupta President and Secy. ABVP Poonch Unit presided over the function and Yougal, Former State Vice President and Sardar Keerat Singh Principal of Boys Hr.Sec.School were Chief Guests on the occasion.
Amit Gupta Secy, ABVP stated that this paper was in two categories and three district level winners from each category will be given first ,second ,third prize respectively and three consolation prizes which will be awarded in civic function. Students getting above 60 per cent marks will be given certificate of merit. He also stated that this test was conducted to encourage competitive temperament among students adding district level result will be announced within three month.
Sarder Keerat Singh congratulated all the students for participating in this Gyan Pratiyogita and told students also to prepare for competitive exams with their regular studies. He also congratulated ABVP Poonch unit for organising this test in his school.
Other ABVP activists present include Madan Sudan, Suganda Bhasin, Rahul Kumar, Param Jeet Singh, Gorav Sharma, Aman Kumar, Rakshit Kandhar, Sunil Sharma and Sorab Sharma .
