SRINAGAR: The Gover-nment today announced that summer vacations for all the educational institutions upto higher secondary level, including recognised private schools falling in summer zone of Jammu Division, shall be observed from 13th June to 27th July 2015.
According to Order No: 262-Edu of 2015 dated: 7th June 2015, consequent upon five day reduction in usual summer vacation period of 50 days, there shall be an equivalent increase in winter vacations of the summer zone schools of Jammu Division.
The order further said that any default on part of the private schools in observance of the calendar of summer vacations so authorised shall attract action under rules.
