Summer camp is basically about hobby classes. Students remain engaged in academics throughout the year so during the vacation school wants to hone their hobbies. These courses will be very beneficial for the students later in life.
In the innovative summer camp, children between 5 and 14 years will be taught leadership qualities, discovering talents, enhancing confidence and aptitude vital non- academic skills such as the art of making friends, handling negative emotions such as fear, anger and frustration in positive ways and encouraging inherent compassion through service projects. S.K Singh, Principal of JK Public School, said, “The formative years are very important, as children learn very quickly and also show interest in various activities.
Normal pre-school education in structured classes don’t offer so much freedom but in hobby sessions students get exposure to a lot of things and pick up what they like and express themselves. This would help the child in becoming more creative.”
