Summer camp begins at JKPS Kathua

KATHUA: Summer vacations are a time to bond with the kids. It’s a time to recreate, rejuvenate and to do the skill oriented activities in abundance which the children love to involve themselves with.
A unique seven-day programme has been conceptualised by JK Public School (JKPS) Kathua, keeping in mind the different areas of interest of the children, be it pottery, swimming, skating, dance, cricket or martial arts. The purpose of summer camp is to provide a safe, fun filled and self-learning environment to the children so that they can have endless memories.
The School Principal Anil Pathania inaugurated the camp with traditional lighting of the lamp.
“The summer camp provides fun activities for young campers and emphasises the need for caring, honesty, respect and responsibility,” he said adding that during the summer camp a plantation drive was also organised
on the eve of World Environment Day.
The summer camp will culminate with an outing to Dalhousie on the last day of the camp.
