JAMMU: A six weeks long Summer Camp at KC Sports Club commenced on Monday with about 70 school children enrolled for it. The Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ram Thakur, Academic Director of KC Public School at 9:00 AM after which regular activities began at different venues within the Club complex.
Dr. Thakur addressed the parents and children assembled in the reception hall of the Club and assured them that the first ever Summer Camp being organized at the Club is going to be an exciting and enriching experience for the participants.
The comprehensive package of activities during the Camp consists of an intensive training schedule in Swimming, Cricket, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Yoga, and Spoken English with Personality Grooming. An exclusive Summer Theatre Camp by the famed Natrang Group is also available during this period.
In addition, a special Summer Cricket Camp for budding cricketers is also being organized simultaneously. Participants can choose the duration option of two weeks, four weeks and six weeks in the comprehensive package, Summer Theatre Camp and Summer Cricket Camp.
All the venues of games, sports and other activities within the Club including the indoor swimming pool are fully air-conditioned. Table Tennis, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Yoga, Theatre and Personality Grooming classes will be conducted in the 2 spacious halls on the ground floor and all activities related to Cricket will be conducted within the spacious Cricket Hall on the first floor. Lawn Tennis training will be imparted on the synthetic surface courts located within the Sports Complex of KC Public School. A team of experienced and talented coaches and trainers has been engaged for the entire duration of the Camp.
