Students, employees of JKPS Kunjwani take integrity pledge

JAMMU: Students and employees of JK Public School, Kunjwani on Thursday took integrity pledge to support the fight against corruption.
The activity was the constituent of Vigilance Awareness Week being observed by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in collaboration with Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) from October 30 to November 4, 2017 on the theme, ‘My Vision-Corruption Free India’.
A special assembly was organised in the school campus wherein Aman Kalsotra and BB Mohanty of NABARD Jammu and Kashmir Regional Office, administered the pledge. The aim of this pledge was to sensitise the employees and students about corruption and ways to curb the same.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani, S.K Singh said that we are responsible citizesn of our country. We must understand that corruption is eating into our nation’s economical growth like a termite and is giving rise to crime in the society. “It is high time for us to join hands and eradicate this menace for betterment and holistic growth of our country. We appreciate various efforts of the government in educating people and making India, a corruption free country”, he maintained.
