JAMMU: MV International School organised Investiture Ceremony 2023-24 to bestow upon its students, the ability to be future leaders, where thirty students were inducted into the student’s cabinet for the session.
Chief Guest, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu shared his blessings with the students and team of MV International School.
Kewal Krishan, Chief Education Officer Samba graced the occasion as Special Guest. Chairman Hira Lal Abrol, Vice Chairperson Savita Abrol, School Director Gourav Abrol, parents of students attended the program along with staff and students of the school.
The school auditorium buzzed with enthusiasm and pride. The guests and the school management conferred the badges and sashes to the cabinet members, enabling the young shoulders to wield responsibilities.
Anikat Singh Charak (12C) and Aadity Singh Slathia (12A), led the Cabinet Working Committee as Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. Both of them in their speeches affirmed their mission and pledged to keep the flag of the school flying high.
Prefect members of the cabinet are: Vice Head Boy – Bhanu Pratap Singh (11C) and Vice Head Girl- Himanshi Basotra (11C). School Cultural Ministry Captains are Nitin Kumar (12D), and Tanvi Sharma (12A) and their deputy appointments are Jatin Choudhary (11B) and Vanaya Saini (11A).
House Captains of this ministry are: The Maestros House – Arushi Slathia (11B), Ridhima Sambyal (10B) and Mayera Saraf (5B); The Victors House – Ipshita Sharma (11C), Harsh Choudhary (10C) and Rakshit Taggar (5C); The Invincibles House -Anandita Sharma (11C), Gunjan Dutta (10C) and Garima Sharma (5B); The Supremes House – Riya (11A), Usha Manhas (10A) and Samiksha Slathia (5A).
Ministry of Sports comprises of Sports Captains – Naitik Tiwari (12A), Kamalpreet Choudhary (12D), Bhuvan Vaid (11C) and Bhumika Gupta (11D).
Home Ministry has Discipline Captains-Vasu Mathur (11A), Manvi Bagul (10A) and Eyam Sharma (5B).
Environment Ministry comprises of Eco Leaders Sneha (11B), Koshika Slathia (10B) and Dhriti Rajera (5A).
Four teachers have been appointed as House wardens – Marvi Slathia- The Maestros House; Arjun Rana-The Victors House; Sakshi Sethi-The Invincibles House; Shakshi Sambyal-The Supremes House.
Principal of the school, Kundan Lal Dogra administered the Oath to the leaders of student’s cabinet.
Special Guest Kewal Krishan, CEO Samba complimented the school for conducting a remarkable ceremony and teaching the students, the way democracy functions in the country by way of elections and installation of council of ministers.
The magnificent spectacle of praiseworthy young leaders on the stage, with their badges and sashes, taking the oath of responsibility and holding their flags was truly graceful and enthralling experience.
Investiture Ceremony was held with a motto to invest the students with a sense of responsibility and duty.
