SAMBA: The menace of stray dogs continues in Samba but the concerned authorities are in deep slumber.
People alleged that day-by-day the population of the stray dogs is increasing in Samba town which is posing a threat to the people of Samba and adjoining areas. Due to the presence of the stray dogs in most areas of the Samba town including Main Bazaar Samba, Link Road, Bantlab and New Bus Stand people are unable to move in these areas in morning and evening times.
Team Jammu President Samba Vikesh Amba said that concerned authority is mum over the issue and failed to act on it. He appealed to the concerned officers to pay focused attention to it.
Vijay Sharma (Sonu) resident of Ward No 1 Samba said the stray dogs are posing great threat to the people especially to school children adding that several times the stray dogs chase motorcycles thus inviting road accidents.
