Stop diversionary tactics, its time to act for BJP: Congress

JAMMU: Chief Spokesperson JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma asked the BJP to stop the diversionary tactics as it is time for the party to act and not merely indulge in rhetorics, to befool the masses being in power at the Centre and State.
Reacting to the statement of MoS in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh, JKPCC has said that it is time for the BJP and Dr Jitendra Singh to act and not only indulge in rhetoric and blame game on the issue of Rohingyas. He said that the BJP has a compulsion to divert the attention of the public because of its failure to honour a single commitment and stood exposed for compromising its agenda and sell out of the aspirations of the people of Jammu region. He said knowing fully that they have no answer to their electorate and people of Jammu for their utter failure and surrender over all issues touching the sentiments and due rights of people, the BJP leaders are indulging in blame game as part of their diversionary tactics. He said that people are not interested in twisted facts of history but delivery from BJP, especially on issues of their concern.
On this issue, the MoS in PMO has repeatedly said that they are threat to the security and safety of the State and nation and being the most appropriate person to have access to these facts, it is his duty to perform on this issue being in government in the State and Centre. Sharma said the government should need to be dealt with as per requirements of the situation instead of hollow statements to exploit and vitiate the atmosphere for political gains. Meanwhile, Sharma also visited the site of fast unto – death and hunger strike started by the contractual lecturers (10+2) candidates near Press Club Jammu, on their invitation and listened to their grievance. They explained to him that they were working in the 10+2 schools for 10 to 12 years but the government has so far failed to come out with a policy for their regularisation. They complained that so far no government nominee has visited them to listen to their grievance while the condition of one of their colleague Vinod Kumar, who is on fast unto death is becoming critical. Sharma assured to highlight their issues and asked the government to immediately listen to their genuine demands and redress their grievance.
