SRINAGAR: An ambulance which was stolen by some unknown persons from Srinagar was recovered by Budgam police from Wadwan area. According to report, on 10th of January 2017, driver of an ambulance Mohammad Ibrahim Bhat, resident of Vizer Baramulla lodged a report in Police Station Karan Nagar that an ambulance ( JK01P/4492) of J&K Yateem Foundation Jawa-har Nagar was stolen by some unknown persons during the intervening night of 9th-10th January 2017 which was parked near Al-Hilal Diagnostic Centre Karanagar.
A case was registered in Police Station Karan Nagar and investigation was set into motion.
The aforesaid ambulance was recovered by Police Post Soibugh from Wadwan area on Wednesday. The vehicle was later handed over to Police Station Karan Nagar. Further investigation of the matter is going on.
