JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Tug-of-War Assoc-iation on Tuesday named State teams for the upcoming 29th Junior Women and 18th Sub- Junior Championships being held at Sports Ground of Adarsha Gurukul Academy and Junior College, Hatkanangale, Kolhapur in Maharashtra from 5th to 9th November.
Earlier, the teams, selected by Association President, Hardeep Singh Anand, Secretary, Jodh Singh Isher and Joint Secretary, Jasvir Singh, underwent a screening test conducted by the J and K State Sports Council at Green Field Ground, here on Tuesday.
Joint Secretary of J and K State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Divisional Officer, Rajan Sharma, Manager, Ravi Singh formed the Screening Committee.
The Teams: 29th Junior Women: Monika Meenia, Sonika, Nidhi, Divyanshi, Kamni, Kajal, Dilshad, Sehajleen, Smile, Meenakshi, Soniya, Sma-kshi, Shivani, Gurleen, Sonia and Diksha Bhat.
18th Sub Junior Women: Janvi, Sarabpreet, Prabl-een, Mansi, Simranpreet, Mamta, Shriya, Swati and Riya. Teams are accompanied by Sorav Dubey, Harvinder Singh, Kosar Jan and Suraksha Bharti.
