State Choi Kwang Do team shines at Nationals

JAMMU: Choi Kwang Do Association J&K’s team comprising three girls and six boys made the State proud by winning nine medals including one silver and eight bronze in the recently held 14th National Choi Kwang Do Championship 2017 at Mathura.
The State team was led by Sukhbir Singh, Team Manager and Aruna Sharma Coach.
Avneet Kour won silver medal in under-14 air shield event whereas Pardhiman Khajuria, Ishaant Gupta, Vasu Dasgotra, Razaq Ahmed, Honey Sharma, Mayank Mahajan, Anisha Devi and Palak won bronze medals in air shield event.
Chairman of the Association, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Retired IGP Jammu, President, Dr. Duyshant Choudhary, Joint Secretary, Dr. Amit Vaid and General Secretary, Amandeep Singh congratulated the Choi Kwang Do team and called for more participation of younger generation in this sports activity.
They asked the youth to take up sports to lead a healthy and disciplined life.
