State, Central Govts substituting rhetoric over work: Manohar

STATE TIMES NEWS
BILLAWAR: Leveling serious allegation on State as well as central dispensations, senior Congress leader, former Minister and General Secretary PCC Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that functionaries of PDP-BJP Government in the State and BJP led NDA Government in the Centre have substituted rhetoric over implementation of developmental works forcing large section of population to face endless miseries.
Moving a step ahead, he also condemned these governments for stalling the works initiated by the Congress partnered Government in State and UPA led Central government in the Centre.
Dr Manohar Lal was interacting with people of villages Bajoke Chak, Mela, Sallan, Dasanu (Dinga Amb), of Kandi belt and Lakhri, Jastar, Thara Kalyal, Gurha Kalyal, Dharamani, Deval Billawar, Kishanpur, chingi Makwal and Ramkot falling in Billawar Constituency during his two day visit. Sarpanchs, Panchs and prominent leaders besides apprised Dr Manohar Lal about the problems being faced by them on day to day basis.
Dr Manohar Lal came down heavily on the BJP-PDP Government for its wrong and anti-people policies due to which the general masses are suffering badly even for minor day to day problems whereas nobody in the Government is bothering to even listen and address the grievances of the people on ground.
He said that no change has been seen on ground after much hyped drama of BJP over so many welfare schemes announced time to time by its leaders and ministers.
Dr Sharma criticized coalition government and local MLA who happened to be the Deputy Chief Minister of the State for deliberately ignoring the genuine problems of Billawar including non availability of APL ration, BPL ration and sugar for more than three months in every village of the constituency. “The link road from Billawar to Katli, Katli to Deri Gala via Chew and Riar to Baggan is in very bad condition and all these roads are under improvement and construction funded by different schemes having sufficient funds but it is very unfortunate that nothing has been done during last six months to improve these roads”, he alleged claiming that more than 30,000 souls of the area directly suffer due the negligence of the government. “A bridge over Nallah Beeni over Katli Marhoon road sanctioned in the FY 2013-14, tender and allotment of work was completed approximately one year back but execution of work is not started yet”, he added.
