SAMBA: SSP Samba today held an interaction meeting with the newly inducted Village Defense Group (VDG) members from the border areas in the premises of Police Station Ghagwal.
The primary objective of the meeting was to sensitize the newly inducted VDG members about the prevailing security scenario. The meeting also aimed to emphasize the importance of working in close coordination with the police to ensure the safety and security of the region.
While addressing the meeting, SSP Samba urged upon the VDG members to complete their weapon handling and weapon firing training at the earliest. He emphasized the importance of being well-trained in handling firearms to enhance their effectiveness in maintaining security. SSP encouraged the VDG members to work in close synergy with the police, stressing that such collaboration would strengthen the overall security efforts in the border areas.
SSP Samba also distributed cash reward to few VDG members who have done commendable work while performing their duties and hoped that such rewards would inspire others to perform their duties with the same level of commitment and responsibility.
During the meeting, SSP Samba patiently heard the grievances highlighted by the participants and assured them that their genuine grievances would be redressed.
