SSP Railways seeks people’s cooperation in maintaining vigil

JAMMU: Rajinder Kumar Gupta SSP Railways on Sunday held a Darbar of the Police Officers and Officials here in Government Railway Police Lines. It was decided that new customized computer printed forms for Istghasas shall be introduced by next week to reduce the manual workload of Investigating Officers, who otherwise are supposed to write the standard wordings every time. The SSP interacted with the Police Officials and listened to their problems and advised them to perform their duties with dedication and zeal, so as to ensure that every action of theirs is a step forward to bring good name to the organisation.
SDPO, Devinder Singh, DySP DAR, SHO Railways and other officials participated in the Darbar.
After the Darbar, a review of the security of Railway Station, Jammu was conducted, wherein certain changes suggested by the police officials were implemented on the spot. The SSP also interacted with the public and assured them that the security apparatus is for the common good and they should cooperate with the police.
