Jammu: The SSP Security Civil Secretariat J&K, Mohd Yaseen Kichloo got award at the prestigious ‘Governance Now 2nd India Police Virtual Summit & Awards 2022’, in recognition of his contribution to the public service in the J&K through innovative use of technology.
Every year, the Governance Now India identifies the officers who are bringing tremendous changes in the police department using technology in the country and elect them as key speakers.
The SSP Security Civil Secretariat J&K, Mohd Yaseen Kichloo is given a great opportunity as one of the key speakers of 100 police officers from across the country selected for this awards summit, this year. SSP M.Y Kitchloo received the award for his project ‘Cybercrime and Preventive Measure’
Governance Now organized the 2nd Virtual Edition of ‘India Police Summit and Awards on Friday, as veterans from Law and Enforcement, Police Forces, units, Social Scientists, Forensic experts, Cyber experts, and other stakeholders come under one roof to share their perspectives and insights on the theme ‘Future of Policing: Innovation and Resilience’.
The India Police Awards 2022 is a part of India Police Summit & Awards to identify the best initiatives under the Indian Police Force across states for technology enablement within their procedure for solving crimes and incidents and to felicitate them as a token of appreciation and encouragement.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP Kichloo explained that in J&K, complaints have been received online from the public, even during the Coronavirus outbreak, and the petitions are forwarded online immediately to the concerned police station and arrangements are made to take legal action against the complaints.
He informed that as part of the Parivartan, reception centers are provided at all police stations and the staff are educated on the use of technology to provide a quick resolution to the public and the personnel are trained on behaviour with the public.
