STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes to curb black money.
“PM started working very strategically. I request people to not create hype of it. It’s a fine move,” Rajiv Mahajan told reporters.
“I think it’s a masterstroke from the Prime Minister who took a huge step against corruption. It will definitely not only curb malpractices and control the parallel shady economy that is ruining the country’s vitals, but will also help control unwanted price inflation,” he said.
Welcoming the expanding the use of old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes for payments for metro rail tickets, highway and road toll, purchase of medicines on doctor prescription from the government and private pharmacies, LPG gas cylinders, railway catering, electricity and water bills, Rajiv Mahajan appealed to State as well as Central Government for providing free funeral services like providing wood for the pyre in all the crematoriums of the city for 50 days.
He also asked all other political parties leaders to follow the footstep of Narendra Modi otherwise they will not to form next government forever.
