STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: State unit of Shri Ram Sena (SRS) strongly condemned the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s recent decision of allowing political parties to deposit their cash of banned Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes in their respective bank accounts. Shri Ram Sena demanded revoking of this unwarranted order.
Addressing media persons here on Monday, SRS State President, Rajiv Mahajan said that Shri Ram Sena had welcomed the decision of Prime Minister on 8th November of banning the high value currency notes with the hope that black money stacked by corrupt persons will come out.
“Every common man appreciated this step of Prime Minister though facing many hardships due to currency crunch after demonetization step. But today when Prime Minister ordered for depositing of old currency notes of political parties in their bank accounts, has pained the poor public of the country,” he added.
Mahajan said that some political leaders and bureaucrats were the main people in possession of black money. And this recent order of Prime Minister has given these corrupt people a golden chance to white their black money. He alleged that this decision of Prime Minister has given chance to bureaucrats inclined towards a particular political party who will donate black money stacked with them to the party to get party ticket after retirement. This is a great treachery with the poor public of the country, Mahajan added.
Mahajan appealed to the Prime Minister to take his decision back regarding political parties of depositing money in bank accounts, as this decision is not acceptable to the general public of the country and Shri Ram Sena condemns it in strong words.
