JAMMU: In keeping with the commitment of promoting the game of Sport Climbing and also to support Mountaineering Association of J and K win medals in the forthcoming National Championship, Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, here has sponsored a coaching camp for climbers who have been selected in the North Zone team.
The North Zone team presently prepares for competing in the upcoming 20th National Sport Climbing Championship scheduled to be held at Kolkata from 4th to 7th December.
The 10-day camp was inaugurated by Directors of the School, Rahul Sharma and Ramesh Khajuria in the presence of General Secretary of the Association, Ram Khajuria.
Interacting with the trainees, Rahul Sharma assured them of every possible help in providing the young and talented boys and girls a platform to excel.
He disclosed that an additional facility in the shape of an international standard ‘Finger Board’ shall soon be made available to the climbers in the school premises. He hoped that the facility, with various types of grips, shall be quite beneficial to the trainees.
Later, secretary of the Association, Ram Khajuria thanked the management of the Sprawling Buds School for the timely help and hoped that the School would continue with such liberal support for the promotion of the game of sport climbing in J&K.
