SAMBA: Under Jammu and Kashmir Police Welfare Fund duly sanctioned by Police Headquarters J and K, Anil Magotra, SSP Samba handed over a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh to Kanchan Balla, widow of Late Sardari Lal who was SPO in J and K Police under Belt No. 425/D-Samba and lost his life in an accident which took place on 12th Dec 2013 while serving in district Samba.
SSP Samba said that the said fund introduced in J and K Police is a benevolent fund contributed by and intended for the benefit of all ranks of J and K Police and their families/dependents.
