Splash-swimming pools inaugurated in JKPS Kathua

KATHUA: JK Public School Kathua inaugurated splash, swimming pools in its premises.
With an intention of creating an environment conducive to the holistic growth of the toddlers as well as the senior students, the school’s efforts have been pioneering in the city.
Principal Anil Pathania in his inaugural speech had highlighted the need of inclusion of such extra-curricular activities.
In his talk with the press, he added that sports and games are an integral part of our lives and their importance in the complete and holistic development of the personality cannot be denied.
Even post-COVID pandemic, the school has held onto its core beliefs: priority to the comprehensive and complete education and inclusion of the sports to the curriculum.
School inaugurated the pools with a Pooja. A beautiful hymn was out-poured by the school’s choir group. And thus, Lord Ganesha and Mother Saraswati were invoked. Principal Anil Pathania offered his prayers to the gods.
Director Sankalp Kamal implored the Water deity, Varuna, for his blessings. In addition, all present entreated different lords for the safe conduct of session and for health of the students; lordly protection was, thus, amassed.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried-out by the Director Sankalp Kamal Afterwards, a massive “pool-party” for the toddlers and other senior students was also held.
