JAMMU: Sikh Progressive Front (SPF) under the presidentship Balvinder Singh along with Manjit Singh Gen Secretary, Surinder Singh Wazir Vice President, Rajinder Singh Sudan Joint Secretary, Janak Singh, Paramjit Singh, Ravinder Singh, S Jagjit Singh advocate condemned the gruesome murder of Avtar Singh Son of Balbir Singh at Greater Kailash in presence of Police official by some unscrupulous elements and alleged land grabbers.
This unfortunate incidence glorifies the lapses on the part of Police department and due to the conveyance of revenue authorities with the land grabbers resulting in the increase of such incidences of lawlessness. Sikh progressive urges upon UT administration headed by LG Manoj Singh and Director General of Police to take immediate steps to expose the nexuses and to book the main culprits, as per the provisions of law, including some retd and serving Police as well as some bureaucrats, as per news reports and take immediate action to assuage the feeling of the family as well as the general Public. SPF demanded immediate relief to the family of the deceased by immediately getting the Nishandahi of the disputed land and hand it over the proprietary rights to the rightful owner.
Besides SPF also demanded job for the one dependent member of Avtar Singh and make sure for provide free school education for the children of the deceased and cash compensation of Rs 1 crore to the NOK’s of killed.
