Over-speeding: Truck turns turtle; bus rams into 4 parked cars

JAMMU: Two cases of over-speeding were reported on Thursday night as one truck went out of control at Amphalla Chowk and another over-speeding bus rammed into four cars parked outside Wave Mall.
As per the details, an over speeding truck coming from Srinagar side went out of control and turned turtle near Amphalla Chowk and consequently the driver got stuck inside the vehicle.
On receiving the information, a police party of Rehari Police Post led by SI Mukesh Sharma rushed to the spot and made efforts to rescue the driver. The JCB was called which helped in rescuing driver after lifting the truck. The injured driver was shifted to GMC Hospital Jammu and was identified as Amrit Pal, son of Amarjeet Pal Singh, resident of Gole Gujral. Police has registered a case and started investigation.
While in another case; an over-speeding bus (JK02U-2243) rammed into four cars parked outside the Wave Mall, Jammu causing damage to the vehicles. Driver of the vehicle escaped from the spot however police has registered the case and launched drive to nab him. However no causality was reported in the accident.
