KATHUA: NSS units of Govt. Degree College, Kathua begin seven days special winter camp on Monday in the college premises. The camp was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Kartar Chand Badgal. Various senior staff members including Dr. P.K Rao, Prof Parveen, Prof Pawan and Programme Officers Prof. Rajesh Kumar, Prof. Shikha and Prof. Manmohan Singh along with various NSS volunteers were present on the occasion. The welcome address was given by NSS volunteer Jeevan Jyoti and NSS report was read by Aditi Tikko. The Principal of the College declared the camp open and also advised the volunteers to imbibe the feeling of social service in them so that they can play an important role in nation building. The vote of thanks was given by Kanav Gautam. Later NSS volunteers underwent cleanliness drive in the campus premises.
