SRINAGAR: Prof. Saifuddin Soz, former Union Minister and senior Congress leader on Thursday hailed stance of A.G Noorani and Dr. Karan Singh on the Kashmir issue.
Addressing Kashmiris through a press statement, Soz cited A.G Noorani’s recent remark that top Kashmiri leadership should unite on a strategy of “peaceful assertion”. Hailing the statements made by Dr. Karan Singh in Rajya Sabha that Kashmir acceded to India with some conditions and Delhi has the compulsion of biting the bullet to resolve Kashmir, he expressed gratitude to Dr. Singh.
“A.G. Noorani and Dr. Karan Singh’s statements constitute a friendly advice to Kashmir for a “Course Correction”. I would take the position that sooner it is done, the better”, he maintained.
