KARGIL: Thirteen matches of different sports categories were played in the ongoing South Kashmir Sports Festival being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Police, here on Tuesday. Anantnag defeated Kulgam in the cricket match while another T20 was played between specially abled teams from Anantnag and Shopian. In volleyball, Anantnag beat Awantipora. In carom, matches between Shopian B and Awantipora A, Awantipora B and Kulgam A, Anantnag A and Pulwama A and Awantipora A and Awantipora B were played. In chess, matches between Pulwama A and Shopian B, Anantnag B and Pulwama B, Kulgam B and Pulwama A and Shopian A and Anantang B were played. In Kho-Kho, Awantipora defeated Anantnag, Kulgam defeated Anantnag and Awantipora trounced Pulwama.
