JAMMU: Inter-school Sahodya Chess Tournament for senior category was held at SOS Hermann Gmeiner School (SOS HGS) here in which fourteen teams comprising of boys and girls from different CBSE schools participated.
Dr. Usha Tickoo, Principal Sai Shyam College of Education was the Chief Guest who declared the meet open.
Earlier, Principal of the host School, R.K. Dhar welcomed the chief guest and all the participants.
There was stiff competition among the participant teams.
All the matches were officiated by Nitin Sethi and Amit of Youth Services and Sports Department. The event was coordinated by S.K Wali Coordinator Games and Sports with the assistance of Sunita Raina. Vote of thanks was presented by S.K Wali.

BOYS: Harshit Gupta of KC International (Gold), Yaksh Chopra of Heritage school (silver) and Vivek Sharma of MHAC Nagbani (Bronze).
GIRLS: Arushi Kotwal of BSF Senior Secondary School (Gold), Aditi Choudhary of APS Domana (Silver) and Esha Alhalawat of APS Jammu Cantt (Bronze).
