Social, political organisations protest against implementation of NFSA

JAMMU: All social and political organisations on Wednesday held a protest in front of Governor’s House against implementation of National Food Security Act (NFSA) demanding from the State and Central Governments to revoke the implementation of this Act against the displaced people.
A large number of Kashmiri Pandit migrants assembled in front of Governor’s House and appealed to the State and Central Government not to implement NFSA against the displaced people.
“If it is not done easily the displaced people will come on the streets and get the Act vacated,” they threatened.
The social and political organisations which attend the protest were All India Kashmiri Pandit Conference, All J and K Kashmiri Migrant Democratic Front, JK National Democratic Front, Secular Front, JK Thinkers Forum, Non Camp Coordination Committee, Bohra Sabha, APMCC, Hindu Council UK, Lok Janshakti Party State Migrant Cell, JCC Jagti, Mata Jwala Ji Trust Khrew, Jagti Welfare Society, AMCCC, Prem Nath Batt Memorial Trust, All J and K National Conference Minority Cell, PCC Migrant Cell, PDP Migrant Cell, BJP Migrant Cell, Kashmiri Pandit Conference, Yamerzul Social NGO, All India Kashmiri Samaj, Durga Nagar Welfare Committee, Kheer Bhawani Trust Jagti, ASKPC, All J and K Displaced Youth Forum, J and K Nationalist Movement, Sr. Citizen Displaced Forum, Kashmiri Pandit Sangarash Committee, Kashmiri Pandit United Forum, Welfare Committee Gangyal, Samuth, Kashmiri Welfare Society, Kashmir Culture Education Society, Hindu Welfare Society Kashmir, Displaced Kashmiri Sikh Conference, Sikh Coordination Committee, Kashmiri Sikh Sangat, Voice of KPs Jagti and others.
Later, President, J and K National Conference Minority Cell, M.K Yogi appealed to the Governor and Central Government to intervene in the matter and resolve the issue.
