POONCH: Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Club (SMS) A team retained the title championship trophy beating SMS-B (25-20, 21-25,16-14) in the final of the 35th Poonch District Volleyball Championship, which was organised by District Volleyball Association at Sports Stadium, here today.
In this two-day knockout competition, eight teams in boys and three in girls section took part. District (DYSS) officer, Poonch, Mohd Qasim was chief guest while AEE Jal Shakti, Mohd Shakeel was guest of honour.
The final officiated by the technical penal including DK Raina and Ghulam Abass. Among other prominent present were Nirdosh Kumar Sharma, Prem Prakash Luthra, Ram Prakash, Neeraj Sharma.
