VIJAYPUR: A series of election meetings at Dabuj Kaka, Dabuj Shezada, Bhagatpur, Kothe Pathania, Gho Camp and Raika Mooba in Vijaypur Constituency today led by Surjeet Singh Slathia, MLA Vijaypur and Senior Vice President, National Conference.
While addressing the public gathering Slathia said that NC is the real secular and democratic political party which represents the urges and aspirations of the people of three regions of J&K State. But the defeated politicians and vested interests don’t want that National Conference should raise the peoples socio-political issues in the highest corridors of power at national and international for a and these elements are hell bend to weaken NC to throttle the voice of people but they will not succeed in their nefarious designs to divide the people as their double standards have been exposed.
On the occasion, Slathia gave on overview of the developmental activities taken in the Vijaypur constituency during the past six years, saying this initiative will continue in future as well. He sought co-operation of the people in implementing various schemes for the overall good of the area.
Slathia said that Omar led government is fully aware of people’s problems and is making all out efforts to fulfill their demands on priority. He reiterated the commitment of the NC government to ensure holistic development of all the regions of the state with special focus on remote, far-flung and rural areas. He further said that the State is on the march of peace, progress and development and this tempo will be carried forward with a mission.
